eMINTS is excited to announce that the keynote speaker for the 15th Annual eMINTS Conference will be renowned author and educator Dan Rothstein.
Dan Rothstein, Co-Founder of the Right Question Institute (RQI), has spent many years learning from the people with whom he has worked all over the U.S. and beyond. Dan’s work in the field has been complemented by academic experiences as a student at Harvard College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education where he also was a Teaching Fellow and an Editor of the Harvard Educational Review. Dan was also a Fulbright Scholar and one of very few non-academics to be chosen as a National Academy of Education Spencer Fellow. Dan is co-author of Make Just One Change: Teach Students to Ask Their Own Questions (Rothstein & Santana, 2011), one of Harvard Education Press’ all-time bestsellers. Dan’s unusual, interactive keynote sessions are universally valued for how they combine active learning opportunities with theoretical analysis and concrete examples of how the Right Question Strategy helps teachers gain greater joy from their teaching as students become more engaged and thoughtful learners.
