Roanoke eMINTS Educators Recognized by University of Alabama

  • Congrats to Mrs. Jennifer Gilbert Kirby! The Office of Research on Teaching in the Disciplines in the College of Education at The University of Alabama has selected a lesson plan submission by Jennifer Kirby, a teacher at Handley High School, for our 2016 Award for Excellence in Teaching Science. (She’s in #eMINTS Roanoke Cohort and wrote her lesson as part of an #eMINTS lesson planning unit.)
  • Congrats to Ms Sherry Tennant Davis! Ms Davis, a teacher at Knight Enloe School, has been selected as the recipient of an Honorable Mention Award for Excellence in Teaching Science by the Office of Research on Teaching in the Disciplines at the University of Alabama. (Ms Davis is an #eMINTS Certified Teacher)
