eLearning: Fall registration begins 8/26

Registration for the eMINTS eLearning fall semester of online courses will open on August 26, 2015.

Course offerings for fall semester include the following:

  • Google Tools for Schools

  • The Role of Questions in an Early Childhood Classroom

  • Chromebooks in the Classroom

  • Going Visual: Using and Creating Infographics for Learning

  • Early Childhood: Learning with iPads

  • Intel: Creativity in the Mobile Classroom *4-week course; $125

  • Effective K12 Online Instruction

  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving with Game Design

Courses begin October 7, 2015.

LIVE Webinar for Digital Learning Day!

Digital Learning Day Live!

Friday, March 13, 2015, 12:00pm – 1:15pm CST

Digital Learning Day Live! will highlight some of the nation’s most promising digital learning initiatives and foster a stimulating discussion about what it takes to integrate technology effectively, strategically, and meaningfully in schools. The national event will be broadcast live from the 2015 Teaching & Learning Conference in Washington, DC, in front of more than 3,000 National Board Certified teachers and administrators.

NBC News Chief Education Correspondent Rehema Ellis

NBC News Chief Education Correspondent Rehema Ellis will serve as moderator for the live broadcast, which will feature national leaders in education technology, as well as school leaders, teachers, and students from four innovative school districts: Baltimore County Public Schools, Houston Independent School District, Huntsville School District (AR), and Vista Unified School District (CA).

The virtual conference platform will provide:

  • FREE access to view Digital Learning Day Live! and other sessions at the 2015 Teaching & Learning Conference
  • Online chat and integrated Twitter feeds
  • Online polling features to weigh in on discussion topics
  • Additional video content and resources on the schools and districts highlighted
  • Access to virtual events hosted by Digital Learning Day partners around the country, including the Arkansas Department of Education, the California Writing Project, and the National Park Service.

Digital Learning Day Live! is just one of hundreds of local celebrations taking place on March 13 in classrooms, schools, districts, libraries, and more.
