Funding and Grant Sources

  • Check the State Department of Education website for your state frequently for funding source opportunities
  • Check with local foundations and visit websites of national industry publications such as eSchool News and Digital Directions by Education Week.
  • The federal government has multiple resources on accessing funding sources, including Federal Funding Dear Colleague Letter and a Professional Development Toolkit.
  • Some districts have sufficient local funding or pass special tax levies or bond issues to support their eMINTS implementations. Check with your local school district financial officer to see what is possible.
  • GetEdFunding – Free database of grants and other funding opportunities. Users can sign up for email alerts based on personalized preferences.
  • Partner with eMINTS – We write several grant proposals in-house each year. If you are interested in collaborating on a proposal, contact us at emints-info@emints.org.

We have proven experience in the grant process, having been awarded and collaborated on numerous grant projects.* If you are interested in learning more about how we might collaborate on funding your professional development initiative, see our Grant Collaborations page.

*Please note, as a non-profit organization, eMINTS does not award grants, but we do collaborate and consult on the grant process.
