ISTE NETS-T Seal of AlignmenteMINTS Comprehensive Professional Development
(eMINTS PD)

Description

  • Two-year program (250 contact hours) with 10–12 classroom visits per year.
  • Participants required to complete both years.
  • Required for official eMINTS teachers grades 3–12.
  • A clearly defined set of professional development experiences with a specific scope and sequence is provided in eMINTS PD. Participating teachers and instructional specialists (eMINTS staff, PD4ETS trainers, certified Instructional Specialists) use the same set of materials that are maintained in a web-access controlled environment.
  • Missouri - Provided by eMINTS staff or PD4ETS participant or certified eMINTS Instructional Specialists employed by participating organization.
  • National - Provided by PD4ETS participant or certified eMINTS Instructional Specialist employed by participating organization.
  • Minimum cohort group size for delivery by eMINTS staff is five participants; maximum cohort group size is 24 participants.
  • Schedule/sequence of PD sessions

eMINTS Comprehensive PD awarded ISTE Seal of Alignment

The eMINTS Comprehensive Professional Development Program has been awarded the ISTE Seal of Alignment demonstrating full alignment with all 23 ISTE National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS-T).

eMINTS is the first professional development program in the world to achieve this degree of full alignment. ISTE issued press release announcing this alignment on April 15, 2005.
