Bio: B.S. Elementary Education; M.S. Educational Technology, currently working on Specialist at the University of Missouri with a focus on Technology in Schools
Credentials: For the past 10 years with the eMINTS National Center, Brooke has supported eMINTS teachers and trainers alike, as they focus on using technology to support instruction. Her cohorts develop a close connection and support each other on their eMINTS journeys. She enjoys working with colleagues to develop professional development materials for new eMINTS programs and for using different devices and platforms to implement student-centered, Constructivist learning experiences. She holds certifications as a Cognitive Coach and trainer, Intel Master Trainer, SMART Notebook trainer, and she is currently working to get her Google Apps for Education Trainer certification. Brooke began her own eMINTS journey as a 3rd grade eMINTS teacher in southwest Missouri and feels a close connection with the teachers she has the opportunity to work with. She’s a wife, mother, avid runner, and all around hobby collector, the newest being knitting.

Credentials: Cara was a classroom teacher for eleven years in the St. Louis area before becoming an eMINTS Instructional Specialist. She has been with eMINTS for thirteen years. During that time, she has worked with teachers, administrators, and technology specialists through professional development and on-site support. She was an Area Instructional Specialist and coordinated the eMINTS National Center annual conference for several years. She is now the Core Programs Coordinator.

Bio: In the 14 years Carla has been in education, she has incorporated inquiry and technology into the classroom. When teaching sixth grade she incorporated projects and activities into her lessons. She taught third and fourth grades as a certified eMINTS teacher. In the position of Library Media Specialist, she guided other teachers as a PD4ETS district trainer. She has been an eMINTS National Center Instructional Specialist for 6 years. She has written and published a number of education related articles. Presently, Carla is working in partnership with the University of Colorado Boulder on a project developing computational thinking through video game design. Her ultimate goal is to show teachers the power of inquiry for engaging and motivating students.

Bio: Carmen has worked with the eMINTS National Center for the past ten years. Carmen is a certified eMINTS teacher and certified PD4ETS trainer. Her experiences in the classroom and at the district level assist her with providing professional development which is meaningful and timely. Carmen is a Cognitive Coaching Agency Trainer and has achieved Google Qualified Individual status. Carmen currently works with the National Train the Trainer program and is involved with developing new training materials for the eMINTS National Center.
