Payment information
All students must sign and return a copy of the Statement of Financial Responsibility form (PDF 140 KB) whether or not they or a third party is paying tuition or they will not be enrolled. This is a new university policy.
The CPE cannot accept payment. All billing and payments are handled through the UMKC Cashier’s office. A billing statement is generated at the end of the month. You will receive electronic billing through Pathway to your UMKC email account, you may also receive a bill in the physical mail. To pay bills online, go to http://www.umkc.edu/adminfinance/finance/cashiers/default.asp. Call the Cashier with all payment questions at (816) 235-1365.
Moodle information
Students will receive information from their graduate course facilitator about accessing and using the eMINTS Moodle space. Graduate credit courses are presented in Moodle (http://campus.emints.org).
Dropping a course
Graduate credit is the same no matter if a student is taking it on campus or in the district. The same policies must be followed. Ignoring important emails from CE, CE and university deadlines, and university billing is not permitted. To drop graduate credit once a student signs up for it must be done in writing to CE – notifying the instructor is not sufficient. The university is no longer permitted retroactive withdrawals after a semester. If a student requests a withdrawal a “W” is posted to their account and no refunds are given. They are still responsible for fees in any event. The student must contact the CE office to drop or withdraw as soon as possible.
