eMINTS for Administrators
Program Overview
The eMINTS4Administrators program is a two-year professional development experience for building principals that focuses on supporting teachers and students that are teaching and learning in eMINTS project classrooms.

Format and Content
eMINTS staff members facilitate admin cohorts with a combination of face-to-face, virtual, and online content, the participants experience a variety of topics. A sample of typical activities include:
- Developing a PLN using Twitter or Google +
- Using Virtual Communication methods such as Zoom, Skype, eMail and Educational Chats
- Editing, Sharing, and Commenting using Google Tools
- Participating and planning community building activities
- Drafting building goals and visions
- Utilizing classroom walkthroughs to gauge integration successes
- Sampling available online resources and classroom tools for teachers and students
- Identifying best practices for digital citizenship in school buildings
- Examining instructional models and discussing how they are used to improve instruction
- Creating curation methods to be used for sharing, highlighting, and storing educational resources
- Experiencing project-based, student -centered learning first hand
